You have a dealer that sells one vehicle. The car is in it's second year on the market and the reality is... it has a VERY limited audience. 2 seats, limited cargo, one unconventional transmission choice, limited power, etc. Then add the sub-standard warranty, limited dealer network, safety concerns, no true iPod integration, blah-blah-blah and I think you sold to most who were going to buy it within the first year. Its going to be very hard to attract new buyers with so much competition out there. You can get a new Kia Forte 4-door sedan with a 100,000 mile warranty and 37MPG for $14,000. In other words, you aren't going to attract new buyers/cross shoppers based on the fortwo's MPG because it isn't THAT stellar. Seems to me, if you want the non-novelty buyers to buy, the only thing that's really attractive is what it was INTENDED for.... a city car.
