According to the main (i.e. manufacturer's) website, every smart (regardless of model and market) is equipped as standard with Electronic Stability Program (ESP), Anti-Lock Brake System with Electronic Brake-Force Distribution (ABS / EBD) and Acceleration Skid Control (ASC).

The smart USA website also lists Cornering Brake Control and Engine Torque Control, but I believe these are really just functional components of the ESP and ASC modules. I'm guessing that smart USA lists them separately to make for a more impressive list and provide additional explanation of what these systems do.

On the other hand, this might be a good question to email to the smart customer support. They seem to be pretty good at responding to this kind of thing.

I, too, would like to know about the 6-spoke wheels. Those are the ones that I would like to get.

I placed my reservation on the 19th as well, but still have not received any email yet.

I placed my deposit on March 30, but haven't received any info to date other than the newsletters

As far as the options are concerned, I would definitely do the fogs and extra gauges plus different wheels if available, maybe the stereo and comfort packages depending on how much I want to spend

Yeah....I would agree with kurt013.....lots of bang for the buck there! There are alot of other things I had no idea were included even in the premo comfort pkg like the heated seats, mirrors. This is no stripper even stock...that's for sure! Now even I am getting excited and anxiously awaiting word from the dealer to sign on the line.

I made my reservation 9AM eastern time the first morning possible. I am very very dissappointed to have not been included in the first 90 day group and wonder if this is being done as fairly as they present it.

My reservation was confirmed on March 24. No word regarding order placement yet.

I'm wondering if the order process is related to whether or not the road show has been to the city yet. I had my reservation in quite early but the road show has not been here yet, and I don't expect to hear anything till after the road show. This is just a guess
