Reservation to Delivery Rumors

Here are the rumors and dirt I heard today when I visited the Smart Center in San Jose.

• Production for 2008 is 23,000 vehicles
• For someone who reserved in October/November 2007 and beyond, delivery will be approximately 1 year.

Now if only I knew exactly were I was on the list. Given a 25% attrition rate, I think I could easily be looking at a 2009 model which would be beyond one year of registering.

There were 22 cars all of which were spoken for, of course. I took many photos and got a brochure! Hopefully this will carry me until May or June when I hope to get a test drive, and I hope that will carry me until I configure.

Funny how that seems to contradicts the "someone form PAG" rumor that states order before Jan 17th will be 2008s! (delivery one year from Oct/Nov 2007 should almost certainly be a 2009) We still see alot of room for flip-flop here!

Ugggggh I have a January 28th date, this means I am getting the car in 2009 to 2010 or whatever. But I hear there is a 90 % no show rate so I should be expecting a call some time this weekend...yeah.
