Reservation trend analysis: x > 1173

Ok, by now 1173's are being contacted all over the place. Some but not all. In one thread, I saw a 1174 that was contacted to come to the dealer next week. Although posting is completely outside my control, I would like people to post only if they have been contacted by smartusa or a dealer about delivery and there number is higher than the previous post.

Lets start this at x, where x > 1174

I think everyone that's a 1173 should be getting a call- i'm a 1174 and just got a call from the devon, pa location for my car to come in next week. Above was posted by kheller in another thread. Looking for a post from someone who called by their dealer greater than 1174

i'm the 1174- i was contacted by Alex at Devon, Pa who said my car was in port and expected to arrive next week and i would be getting more information next week about pickup

Yes, its kind of annoying to try to analyze all these separate threads!
Even before the madness hit I tried to start a separate, unified thread in the reservation subforum days ago and I don't think I've gotten one pertinant post. It started off as a sticky no less, but has since become unstuck!

I'm curious to know of those who have been notified, how does this relate to their confirmation dates. Are we talking all 1173's, or just those who were invited the very first week! Remember, 1173 confirmations probably went on for a whole month!

That's correct as I am an 1174 and completed the configurator on 10/8/07. I've read where some of the 1173's have done the configurator a month earlier. In my own particular case, I believe that some areas have more 1174's than 1173...like mine for example. So in my case they jumped up to the 1174's already because there were not that many 1173's. i'm 1 of 11 to be in the first shipment of cars to our dealership so that has to be the case. 10 or less of those 11 may be 1173's....not known and won't be.
I did get my VIN today, though, and have tracked the car thru the link given on this forum. Neat....According to the tracking, my car left Bremerhaven on 12/31 and assuming 2 weeks port to port, it should get into Baltimore tomorrow or Sunday and hopefully get on the truck up to Albany Monday or Tuesday. That may be correct thinking but it is my eternal optimistic thinking at its best!!!

So officially, the highest confrimed number who has gotten dealer call is still at 1174 until we can get someone from Carnut's dealership to join this forum and post a 1179.

wow, an 1179....and at (I assume) a Fl dealership no less. would have figured many 1173 and 1174's ahead of this. I guess maybe the weather was nice in south florida on 3/19!

resv' 1182 was NOT in the batch that Loeber (Chicago) received so I think we're getting close to seeing how far from 1173 they were able to fill in the first load

The first of the 1173s are taking delivery in mid January. If that's mid March to Mid Janurary the that's ten months by shire reckoning.

Using the KISS method, why can't I say (barring improvments in production quantity and distribution) that an 8/07 reservatin will see 6/08 smart in the driveway?
