We (wife and I) received our reserved confirmation last Saturday (December 15th) as others on this site have with the notice that we would be receiving an e-mail back letting us know that SMART has our order within 24 hours. Realizing it was the weekend, we wern't worried 24 hours later but by Wednesday, after no such e-mail, I called SMART customer care. Was handled very politely by a young lady and received our confirmation (twice really) within minutes. While I had her on the telephone I asked her how things was progressing and she really couldn't / wouldn't tell me very much. She did mention that each dealership after the January opening will have two vehicles available for test drives...wanted to pass this information for those interested.
