I like the part where he says he is a fan of the Fortwo.

It's possible to be a scooter fan and a fan of scooters at the same time...

I am.

LOL - good review and different, being from a scooter perspective.

"After having heard more than a few comments about the shift speed in the fortwo, I was prepared for the worst. In real life, it's just a little slow in shifting. The shift quality is fine, it just takes approximately one second to go from gear to gear. When used in the manual mode (with the lever or with the shifter paddles that come on the higher-spec models), it's a perfectly acceptable transmission and is just a bit on the slow side."

I have had scooters for a long time. We recently attended a 3-day scooter rally. Towed the scooters to the rally start with the smart. I tell my neighbors that when we can't afford gas for the 2 smarts we ride the scooters.
