I think 20K for a Brabus is a reasonable price.

I would pay up to 22K for a Coupe Brabus and 25K for a Brabus Cabrio. Anything more than that would be too expensive in my opinion.

Thanks for the update Bernd; that puts the exclusive coupe at $30,692.85 using today's exchange rate. Lots of nice cars in that price range.

The stock car isn't stiff, its harsh. Thats a effect of less than ideal valving on in the dampers themselves combined with soft spring rates. Stiffer suspension will get rid of the rocking horse effect and might ride better than the factory smart.

for the record, how many of your 'past cars' have had a 73" wheelbase? i would think THAT would be the main reason for a 'rocking horse effect' ride.

the short wheelbase can only be compensated for so much. if someone were adapt 'tank type tracks' to their smart.........now THAT would do away with the 'rocking horse effect' for sure! and help with the 'no spare tire issue' as well.......

How much is the Passion in Europe?? I doubt that price translates to what we're paying here so I don't think the Brabus price is entirely accurate.
I just "built" mine which cost $14.5k and it came out to 9,340 Euros.

Also, the prices shown on the UK site for the Brabus Xclusive are 13,525 for the coupe and 15,475 for the cabrio.
