I was wondering what the status of any Seattle area buyers is. I have reservation #1260 and have not been confirmed, even though others with higher numbers have. Any of you Seattle people care to tell me the scoop? Thanks Steve (Tacoma)

Hi Steve, reserved 3/29 confirmed 10/26. Just waiting to hear from the dealer, Ethan of Southcenter Acura/Smart car will be handling the dealership. I ordered an elder bumblebee= yellow with grey tridion. What are you considering? I think the dealership should be up and running tomorrow, but no cars yet.

I'm a lucky 1173 here. I live in Capitol Hill so I can't wait to start "creatively parking" my smart! I stopped by the dealership last weekend and everything looked ready to go, minus cars, of course. I ordered a blue/silver passion with a beige interior...to brighten up all the grey days!

I am on Bainbridge Island and am a 1262 who has not confirmed yet (as I have whined in another thread on this forum). The car is primarily for my wife and daughter. Color choice is true bumblebee - yellow with black tridion and black interior.

Thanks for all your responses. I spoke with the service manager the other day. He just got back from San Diego for training. He indicated that maintenance should be pretty straight forward and yes, the 451 has a oil pan drain plug unlike previous ones. He did concur that people are pinging off the walls in anticipation of there new smarts. I am going with white and silver with probably leather and my reservation number is 1260 so I'm assuming I'll be hearing something fairly soon. I hope everyone saw the review from the Canadian guy who just got his 451 after having a 450 for 3 years. If that doesn't stir the pot of excitement, nothing will. Hey Steve -

Not from Seattle, but I am a smart specialist from the smart center in Portland - so I'm nearby! I'm also a reservation holder of a red/black/leather passion! (Anxiously waiting!!) Last I heard, all of us Northwest dealerships will be receiving our demo vehicles by the end of the month. Exciting!
