This from the latest Mercedes Car Group press release:
"Customers also are very enthusiastic about the new smart fortwo. The number of vehicles delivered to customers in Oct. rose by 92%, to the record-setting total of 10,600 units (same period last year: 5,500 vehicles). As a result, smart brand sales increased by 29% in Oct., despite the fact that the brand still offered three models last year."
They're going to need that third shift....
