Not so sure that's going to be so good. It seems that will be kinda hard on starter motors long term......You may be changing them out every 6 months unless they are of the gear down, PM hitork variety like a Tilton starter. That can take repeated engagements like that as it has no brushes.

For decades, Cushman service vehicles operated on a similar basis. However, instead of restarting the engine after the brake is released, you had to depress the accellerator to restart. I don't know the design of those starters, but they would function for years without issue.
