Haha, that's awesome. I hope they removed the speed limiter on that puppy so the cop can say, "oh yes I CAN go as fast as you."

With a cop's level of training, I think the Smart can hold its own if the cop were allowed to disable safety systems like the speed limiter. There's no legal reason for the average joe to go 90, but I'd love to see a Brabus in a high speed chase.

Yeah, I know, there's more to the police force than chases... Besides, once you catch someone, you need a back seat to store 'em.

Nah. This being NJ, I think they intend to drag perps through mud fields where the happy cows are grazing. Nothing like 20 minutes in cow dung to wring out a confession. It's the smart way.
