Smart Pure Plus

I don't know if you been by the Smart centers lately, but there is a new pure called the "Pure Plus". What it is is a pure with a black frame fitted with all the various colors and optioned with air conditioning and power windows. A radio is not included but can be fitted with one at your dealership. Seems like a cool deal for somebody wanting the basics without the bother of crank windows. I don't have an issue with the manual windows myself.

I have a Pure and that is one of my biggest gripes. I have the air and a great radio, but I hate those roll up windows!! They are very stiff and backwards to me, I would LOVE the automatic ones.

I think they're calling a Pure with just power windows (not A/C) the "Pure Power."

Have not seen (or heard) of a PURE with Power windows without AC?

The PURE PLUS (PURE +) has Power windows and AC.

Our dealership will even add a radio (for an additional $150)?

Tyson's smart center has PURE + models in WHITE/BLACK, BLACK/BLACK, RED/BLACK

We arlso have BLUE/BLACK (+225), BLUE/SILVER (+400).

Is this just a short term special thing, or is this something that they are going to advertise and market?

When I worked at Saturn, I was surprised at the number of special editions that they had - but they were never officially listed in the brochures or such.

They ought to sell the pulse variant here, with the wider 6 spoke wheels as in Europe. 175/55-15 front and 195/50-15 rear.
