Those are the wheels I want. Flying tiger has them, but they are rather pricey. The 9 spokes we get have grown on me - but they are a pain to clean, and an even bigger pain to wax.

Good lord. I went from driving 22K a year when I lived in the sticks to driving about 6K a year last year, spread across 2 cars. If my apartment were facing the other way, I would be able to see my office building, and I have a subway station about a 2 minute walk from my front door.

I have never owned or driven a car that I liked as much as this one... a year in, I am not the least bit bored with it - and I still look for excuses to drive it. I can be having an awful day, and taking it out for a spin fixes that. The more miles it gets on it, it actually seems a bit more frisky and even sounds better.

When I worked at Saturn, I was surprised at the number of special editions that they had - but they were never officially listed in the brochures or such.

I wonder it this is a test of the potential market. In any company they watch the sales figures very closely to see what interests buyers. Will buyers fall in love with the lower cost Smart if it has power windows and AC?

You bet it is. I test drove a 84 HP Turbocharged pulse in April 2008 in Germany. The car was sweet and the roadholding was up to the speed the powerplant produced. VERY nice wheels and tires.....

Yep is true. I just picked up an orphan last week and it was exactly that (I thought it was a special order that was abandoned) but it is a black pure with ac and pw.
