It's getting crowded up here on the knoll! My own feeling is that there is going to be a good bit of money made in the first few boatloads via resales etc. (eBay will do well IMO) and it's hard to imagine folks in the car business passing up on such easy profits so if that makes me a conspiracy nut I'll bring the chips for our party on the knoll! :-)
Why would they ship a car from the docks to a "parking lot" in michigan if the car is destined for the east coast. I certainly would not pay more for shipping on a car that does not need to go that extra step. They will probably have the distribution center in Baltimore, that would make most sense.
I agree.....MINI used New Jersey as their initial point of arrival and distribution point.
