Spoke to my dealer today

Spoke to My dealer today (EDISON N.J.) and asked if they could give me an update on any new news from the company. I was told that that they would have cars to show as of Jan.1-08, that renovations to the dealership was on schedule, and for $ 800.00 one could change the color of the entire car(removable panels) if one wished to. Not much news to share but its something !

Uncle Tony, I would bet my guest membership to Bada Bing that $800.00 is approx $400.00 too low.

I saw a brochure recently, not sure where it was from but the price was about $1300. Frosts me as 3 years ago the Paris France dealer had complete sets for about 450 euro (different car I know)

A member of the Canadian forum ordered a full set from Germany. $1600CDN, shipping included. Ouch! For considerably less than $1600, $1200 OR $800 I could take them off and get them painted myself!

The Canadian smart configurator is listing the panel "fresh up" kit at $1630 Canadian. That's for any standard color (apparently metallic paint doesn't cost any more if the panels aren't actually attached to the car).

I bet Mr P can get that price down a little...

Of course we never had a firm conclusion to the question of color being impregnated or painted on. I'm betting impregnated regardless of color selection.

P.S. Gamer could have just hit the # sign. (Pound LOL)
