Things are starting to move.

Happy to see Smart Fortwo in the September issue of Motor Trend Magazine in the 2008 New Car Buyer's Guide.

Motor Trend article.

Very good and most surprising, as most of the main line auto press has been very down on the Smart car.

AutoBlog's John Neff wrote a real downer for the Detroit News last winter and "low and behold" the piece appeared in The LA Times , just as Smart was starting thier road show in Glendale. The piece was undated, and had I not read it previously In the Detroit news, I would have thought he was refering to the cars at the tour. A real hatchet job.

All those SUV and gas guzzling PU truck magazines will eat their words when the Smartie turns into the next VW bug in popularity and sells a bunch.
