Mandzak sells Mercedes-Benzes and the Maybach, an expensive offshoot of the Mercedes, which sells for between $350,000 and $400,000.
He also sells the new SMART car, a sub-compact that has interchangeable color polyurethane panels outside and a three-cylinder engine. It’s a collaboration of the Swatch watch company of Switzerland and Mercedes-Benz.
The autos are sold from what Mandzak calls “an unconventional dealership” — Mercedes-Benz of Beverly Hills — that doesn’t look like a car dealership at all.
“It’s a big, granite building with a marble archway,” he said. “There are no outside signs, no outside lot.”

542211 is 11:22:54 am PT. 1173 is a Day One reservation. Congrats you beat me by an hour!
Not to worry, LA will have cars before our central Ohio dealer (Pauly Walnuts of Columbus) does.
Vinnie told me this week that 65 cars are expected on or around January 15. He'll have his list VERY soon and tell me how far down a Day One Noon reservation is on the list.
