Configured reservation #1232 today after holding off almost 2 weeks. Received an email indicating that a dealer would contact me but it did not have the usual message about having to wait until the second half of the year for delivery. Maybe they think everybody knows that by now??? Or maybe I'll get another email telling me to hold my horses.
I have also been looking at the Honda Fit and that salesman has been calling and lowering his price. He's very up front about wanting to move as many as possible out the door before the end of the year...which is now upon us.

The fuel economy isn't quite as good on the Fit, but the reliability risk will be far less on a Honda than anything built in France.
I agree with both of you which is why I am still a bit undecided but leaning toward "fun." My daughter saw a picture of it today and pardon the language ahead of time but she said "that is one ugly azz car." Pfffffft.
