There is only sure winner in this war and that is us, the buyers.

These companies are doing all they can to secure your money, this means that they increase fuel efficiency, add extras, reduce prices and make cars better and better each time. Competition amongst companies is a bonus for the consumer.

Maybe, maybe not. Manufacturers and sellers all know the magic number when it comes to cars (it's not 42). When you hit this number price-wise and mileage-wise, it's the perfect storm and a car that satisfies the masses. Manufacturers will generally not bother to make cars better once they get these numbers.

I came across that article a few days back as well, but forgot to post it. Did you happen to read the poll afterwards (would you buy a smart?) - It was a resounding defeat! People who really don't know about the smart, are really not that ..............smart!
