Well....if true, this WOULD be a way for salesmen to earn some commissions, which otherwise, might not be coming for over a year down the road. I'd also expect that "unreserved vehicles" could be sold at market price (jacked up prices) since there, then, would be no prior agreements between buyer and seller. You KNOW there's gonna be buyers out there willing to pay $25,000 for a car that SHOULD cost $15,000 if he had the patience to wait in line AND, dealers willing to sell it at that price utilizing loopholes in the otherwise restrictive, franchise agreement. I suspect there may be some grain of truthfullness here..at least to the extent that it's worth watching lest reservation holders find themselves being squeezed out. I don't think we should shoot the messenger but rather should learn from him and set our alarms just in case.
