Well....if true, this WOULD be a way for salesmen to earn some commissions, which otherwise, might not be coming for over a year down the road. I'd also expect that "unreserved vehicles" could be sold at market price (jacked up prices) since there, then, would be no prior agreements between buyer and seller. You KNOW there's gonna be buyers out there willing to pay $25,000 for a car that SHOULD cost $15,000 if he had the patience to wait in line AND, dealers willing to sell it at that price utilizing loopholes in the otherwise restrictive, franchise agreement. I suspect there may be some grain of truthfullness here..at least to the extent that it's worth watching lest reservation holders find themselves being squeezed out. I don't think we should shoot the messenger but rather should learn from him and set our alarms just in case.

Hey guys,

I don't want this type of thing to get everyone up in arms but if it is true I would like to know more from WillyNilly. I have personally requested more information.

WillyNilly- dealers LIKE to be inundated with calls!

So either quote the source or I'll not believe a word.

Not even a location on the posters profile.... Think its kinda cruel to people who are hurting for news... and to tell lies! If you believe this is true, tell us the dealer!! No info... no belief!

Folks, we have heard nothing about what happens to the orphan cars. Will they be adopeted by the next person in line at that dealer who wants it? Will it be sold to the highest bidder who walks in with a big load of cash?

Stay tuned... we'll probably know next month.

I thought that any orphan was to be offered to the next on the list IN THAT AREA. Then it can be sold to walk-ins WITHOUT A PRICE HIKE. This has been discussed over and over and over......fades to black

I doubt there will be many orphans for a good while for several reasons I can imagine.
