It really ticked me off. This writer obviously didn't talk to someone who actually owns a Smart.

Why, I smile everyday I get into my little Wee Pod, I don't know what he's talking about!!

grasshopper, This article was put out a few months back I believe. There are a lot of cars that I have owned in the past that I was quite happy with, but did not receive rave reviews. I consider my smart a pretty cool car. Do I think it will last forever? Not with the 350 miles a week I am putting on the speedo each week. Do I want to keep it long-term. Yep. Have I got the customizing bug with it? Yep... within reason. No body kits or expensive wheels, but other things that make my car uniquely mine. I also ride a Harley... plenty of people who don't like Harleys either. That's OK with me. I purchased my bike and my car for me, not for the opinion of others.

smart....still here for the last ten years and going strong!
