Froglet the Hillclimb Smart

Hi All,

Just a quick update from England.

Our Smart MR2 engined hillclimb car is almost at the end of our motorsport season so I thought you might like to see the latest bit of video from our local hill Loton Park.

The car has been a huge hit this side of the Atlantic and apart from the clutch starting to slip which you can hear in the video its been trouble free.

Enjoy

Pam and Jim

Your video reminded me of Lotus 7s and Elva's in the 1950s. I don't know why hill climbs were never popular in the US.

Great video; thanks for posting. That's got to be one of the nicest sounding smart exhausts out there.

Maybe because some like the 1/4 mile better. I would enjoy a hill climb challenge more than a drag race...

Thanks, we made it. Bought component parts from Jetex and made it fit the space available.

All of the early cars (up to 2002) were left hand drive. Our car started life as a 2001 Pure. Its had numerous modifications and we have added a later (peanut lights) set of body panels.
