"The red plastic is red through and through" wrong!

Notice the NAV unit on the top of the dash next to the tach. Looks like permanent install by smart?

I've noticed it on all the demo cars they've given out. Probably installed for the demo, but not a permanent item.

The review is a little lame, but doesn't GQ normally review shirts and ties?

They should stick to print...camera work as annoying and much too choppy....

Review was OK

The Euro Smart has a factory option Nav unit but not loaded with NA / USA maps, and compared to Garmin or Tom Tom units way to expensive

Overall pretty good IMO. At least he concentrated on driving impressions as much as the size. The GPS appears to have a windshield mount. I liked his headroom comment, when he realized he was in the cabrio. Will have to see the actual car but it seems from the front bumper to the seats the smart has the same dimensions of most other minicars; it just has the truncated rear section to reduce overall size. As for the camera work, the whole thing came across as a home movie from somebody who's watched too much MTV.
