Last weekend (6/28) the smart Owners Club of San Francisco had a gathering and autocross meet up at Infineon Raceway near Sears Point.
The wife and I had a great time and met a lot of great folks, but the best part was the autocross portion where we got to flog these little things around a course and see what they can do. The results were pretty amusing.
I've posted a video from the end of the day when Larry "LittleDevil" took on an instructor's Pontiac Fiero in his Bovine inspired smart. We took to calling his car "The Screaming Cow". Just one watch of the video will show you why, lol!
Too much fun!! I hope to post more videos and pics soon.

Saw this when it was originally posted; "screaming cow" is perfect! Actually, I'm pretty impressed with how the smart performed, although it was never going to catch that Fiero.

Yea I agree, It actually managed to stay up with the Fiero until a couple laps later I just kind of gave up on the driving line and decided to drive it the "fun" way which was not the fastest way around the course

Yea, but it was a little out of my hands, I was just sitting shot gun when he handed me the camera and said "Hey why dont' you record this" lol... prior to that we were just chatting and driving haha. And who doesn't speed anyways? We all do at one point =P.
