More smart car abuse =(

Well, during my Friday surfing of the interwebs I've found this particular video where teens pull up and abuse a smart in front of the camera. Best part is it's of decent quality unlike the smart car tipping on YouTube

1. They attempt to tip it but face epic failure.
2. In that defeat they move to the other side and try to push it over.
3. After they fail again one of them seems to carve words into the smart with a key or just by fingering the ice on the body making cuss words...
4. Now as one walks to the camera his buddy kicks in a side mirror.
5. And then just as it ends that same guy puts a kick right into the side panel.

I mean *** is wrong with my generation?

This guy breaks into a smart but gets nothing because he got scared by the alarm. The owner made jokes out of it and moved on. Possibly it was him on the video?

Neon, I don't understand how people can abuse another person's property. They certainly wouldn't think it was funny if it was their property. I understand pulling a prank... but this is beyond a prank. Luckily a gun toting owner didn't show up.

The guy who posted the first vid is quite mentally deficient. First he posted a video of him TRYING to vandalize a smart but failing (apart from the mirror). Second, if you look at the comments in youtube, you'll see a lot of angry people telling him off. The response? The dude gives out his home address and the model of the car he (probably his dad) drives and says "come get me". Wow. Road trip to British Columbia anyone?

If anyone knows the owner of the red 450 in the first video, and if that owner lives in the US, I have a spare (non electric) wing mirror they can have. They will have to get the mirror glass though.

I only know of one place that sells the mirror glass
Fortwo Roadster Mirror Glass

I think it is a US 450, although his channel says he lives in Canada.

And as I say, the "best" part of the video is that it's of decent quality. You can clearly see them attempting to deface a smart and failing (excluding the mirror and possible door damage from the kick)

And then to top it off he stands in front of the camera then gives away his address on the comments...

If you stop the video in the right place, the broken glass appears outside the monitor's image area. Not only did the broken glass look fake, like it was added to the video, but OUTSIDE the monitor's display area...

The stupid thing kids do for kicks. If anyone was ever seen messing with my Smart id take a video and call the cops on them.

Oh, that is obvious about the glass breaking on the monitor. But the fact that he takes it more as a joke bothers me. I'm going to look more into the video to see if glass actually broke

EDIT: watch at 1:42, you see the glass break on the car. Then less than a second later it breaks on the screen.

Although the first is completely real.

My impression was that the glass was put in there for a bit of artistic license. I actually admire the guy for making a joke out of his car being broken into. I certainly wasn't that good humoured when my previous car was broken into.

I'd be red and pissed off if that was my car.

Watch the window closely at 1:40-1:44. In the video you see a window break and less than a second later the computer screen has a "glass break" effect on it.

If it is real, that guy doesn't take things too hardly

But the first one is out of line, that's the kind of video that makes me swear. And I've stopped doing that for a long time now.
