Yes I would like to go!! MY Smart got keyed less then 2 weeks after i had it, Stupid MFERS! That is a girly thing to do, you don't mess with a dude's ride.

I believe the first video is of a Canadian 450 - US 450 (G&K etc.) have projector headlights. I live in British Columbia. This pair of schmoes are indeed completely likely to get away scott-free, even if they could be identified.

Don't bother to make the trip for these losers, friends. They're likely to have all their like-minded 16-year-old butt-buddies chase after you. Or at least send you nasty txt messages

There are many great reasons to visit BC but this isn't one of them ;)

Bil, isn't the gate fee rather hefty to participate?
(I couldn't find it but I thought I saw it posted on the CsC site...

In the second video, smart car break in: This isn't a security camera, it's manned. The photographer follows the 'action'. With the amount of time elapsed, it would seem to me there was plenty of time to call the authorities. I suspect the whole thing is staged. But, I've been wrong before.

Hmmm... So I won't be youngest owner when I get my smart...

The fee is much the same as Targa Newfoundland or Targa Tazmania, etc: $5,000 give-or-take. I think I'll work on my tire, oil, filter etc. vendors over the next year and see if it's possible to assemble an entry package.

It would be amazing to take part in this, especially with the smart, because the organizers are promoting a special class/sub-class for fuel efficient vehicles like ours.

This will be a super pre-season (May 23-28, 2010) event, even for spectators: cars from around the globe - vehicles you might never see except on tours like this.

And these roads are always here, Timo; anytime you're up for motoring out our way, I'm ready to go, man!
