Seems to be an Alloy trailer, put just 10-50lb bags of mulch on there and it will be a whole different story with that thing. Hope for the best. I don't know that I would tow anything with mine. I know folks do just fine, but it looks scary to me.

Same with me, my smart will never pull a trailer and I will not give a second thought to it.

That's what's having 2 smarts is for

One stock, one to let your imagination run wild on.

OK -

1. aluminum trailer
2. you can't hear the car getting a workout, only the rattle going over the edge of the driveway. That trailer should only weigh in at around 450lbs tops. No problem for a Smart. Once it get loaded a lot more, there may be a stress on the car but it's fine for now.

I've towed a heavier trailer (with a queen mattress and box spring on it) with mine and the car still runs/drives fine thousands of miles later.

They are little power horses, aren't they?

Since I've never driven one I thought the rattle was the engine doing some work.

I think I've seen your trailers on here somewhere, big too.

Aluminum never crossed my mind, I was thinking about a heavier metal.

Either way it's a nice trailer for a smart.
