Pretty bad review by consumer reports - Page 2

I read cu for many years. I never bought any thing they recommened.They are too practical. I have had at least25 new cars in my 81 years and I like the Smart the best.

What the hell? That wasn't a review- that was just smart bashing. I was waiting for him to say that the car was guaranteed to burst into flames or give you cancer.

When Consumer Report says "Do not buy!" I usually do. So far it has worked great! LOL!

'CR' stands for 'Can't remember' any car other than Honda.....I had a new 1990 Civic.....cost the same as my 2008 Smart....but the Smart is more fun and a better car IMHO.....CR is a waste of trees...always has been.

OK I had to go to a different computer to watch it. I guess this computer knew it was an Evil Video.

Glad to see all the positive comments posted with it. Once again, They only comair it to a Prius (TOYOTA) and a fit (HONDA). How much more predictable can they be.
That is an interesting test track they have. If my roads looked like that I would walk.
He didn't mention that you can get better MPG than the prius at 75 mph.
His comments about the smart do sound just like every other uneducatd persons. Wondering why it doesn't get 100 MPG,
Well does his preciouse Prius get 100 MPG? NO.
Does any other gas only car sold in the US get better MPG than the smart? NO!!!
But does he mention that? NO!!!
Why? Because he doesn't know that because he didn't look it up.
Does he know why no car in the US gets 100 MPG? I guess not because he didnt mention the EPA and Safety requirements we have here in the US that are keeping us where we are.
