LHD 450, UK plates? Anyway, pretty impressive - could have used those tracks during the last big snow here. What's really interesting is how well the front tires seem to handle the grass surface; much better than they do on snow.

My thought too, another alternative to mundane items like snow tires.

I've put my smart through heII going offroad, but that made me cringe .
I don't think it would be tracking as good through sand. Those tracks would send it straight while the wheels are turning to the left or right. Been there, done that - without the tracks though. What's next, a water sealed smart that is a boat?
