?????

I thought I read in the Manual that there is an issue with towing a smart with all four wheels on the ground. Not planning to tow Ant Bee. But, if you are thinking about towing your smart, "Read the Manual".

I believe I read that that part of the manual is being rewritten. The smart can be safely towed with all four down. Blue Ox makes a base plate and tow bar. My dealer said that smart will have one out soon, too. There's another thread here somewhere with information on towing including a statement from a smart representative.

We're towing ours behind our camper van and love it!

Right you are! As the vid shows, turn on the key, put it un neutral, turn the key off and go. I'm having brackets installed at Roadmaster in Portland Monday.

Smart. Good post, that settles that issue once and for all.

The Mfg said no tow on the Festiva too. It turned out to be just a double CYA on their part, as thousands have been towed .

I agree with Wiloran. I too read the vitrifaction from the smart Rep on OK for 4 down towing.
