I get same response as well. However, I was in the drive that took place up that mountain. There's was no problems making it up. Was alot of fun doing the drive.

Curious... how did you mount your camera for this vid?

I put a tripod right on top of the engine compartment. Used some bungee cords to hold it tight. I opened the two side doors over the fenders and hooked the bungees there too. On the next video, I turned the camera around 180 degrees which put the lens about 6 inches from the back window. The Vimeo site lets me only put up one HD video a week. Well, it is free!

Nice mountain trip!

nscaler, those train videos are AMAZING!!! (I like the little smarts you put in too...)

I'm still debating between N scale and Z for my set when I begin building.

Just to clarify, what's one step larger than N scale?

Thanks and sorry for the temporary hi-jack!

Great video, what a fantastic road that is, and so quiet, where are all the cars?
Don't like the exhaust though, would get on my nerves on a long trip, I used to have a aftermarket exhaust on my smart, but after a lot of trouble with it I put standard back on, it also droned a lot on the freeway.
I would be happy if the roads were like that in Britain, makes me want to come over there one day

Thanks! Glad you liked my videos. The smart car in the videos is a N scale 450 - close enough!
HO is the next size up from N. HO is 1/87 and N is 1/160. Lot more space in Z (1/220).

I did pull over to let the two cars and the motorhome to get ahead. No one passed me while I was waiting. So I had a clear road ahead.
The video starts at about 2,500 feet and stops at about 5,200 feet altitude.
I like the sound. No problem putting 1,800 miles on the smart last summer.

Nice driving, scenery, great roads, and year round good weather. You guys where having a good time and caught up to those slow bozos that where not going to pull over to let you by.
Would be nice to have a rear facing camera angle to see the other smart's driving hard through such nice road.
