Hello guywiththelongestname,

Yes, I am in Victorville! I've had my Smart for a little over a month. I think mine is the same color combo as yours (yellow/black). What part the valley are you in?

hey, greetings soareyes:

i am an Apple Valley-ian...but I work in Victorville...and go down to the Mall area often...

I did hear that there was another "SuperBee" in the Victor Valley

So far I think there a four smartmobiles up here in the Desert: 2 SuperBees, 1 orange/silver over in AV, and 1 white/silver over in Jess Ranch.

Yes, I met the couple with the white/silver Smart, and I waved to the orange/silver one when we passed each other on Hesperia Road. We will have to get together some weekend morning and check out each others car! Maybe I'll have my Breathless muffler on by then.

I stopped by the Honda dealer today at lunch to pick up a part for my wife's car, and the salesmen were all over the Smart. I showed it off and let them sit in it, and I think they all got a kick out of it. Late getting back to work though

my smartmobile had to go down to riverside: it had the "shifter gremlin"...the shifter button seized-up and the smartmobile was stuck in park...if it hasn't happend to you yet, you might want to view the "smart car technical" pages at this site...

have you had any weird technical issues with your SuperBee?

So far the only problem has been my sunshade. The passenger side was out of its guide, but I managed to fix it myself. I haven't had the shifter problem..... yet!

Glad to hear yours is coming home soon.

i had the "sunshade" issue,too...except mine had little broken pulley pieces which fell out...yipes! derek at walter's mercedes riverside ordered the replacement parts and installed them while the smartmobile was in for the shifter-fix...

so: 900 miles in... 3 issues addressed: shifter, air injection solenoid, sun shade.

but, walter's mercedes is doing a great job with these "gremlins" so far...

see you on the road soon,
AV dave

we should meet up one of these days and get gassed-up at the mall Chevron, or maybe eat a breakfast burrito at the mall Farmer Boys, or maybe get a cup of coffee at the mall barnes and nobles...

i'd love to see the look on Victor Valley-ites faces when the see two SuperBees at the same location!

Hey Dave, I plan to go to Barnes & Noble Saturday morning at 9:00 with the Smart. Want to meet there? This could be the first High Desert Smart get-together!

Anyone else (present or future owners) interested? This would be in Victorville.

Hi guys. Totally new here. In fact my $99 reservation fee was paid yesterday. From my understanding I have a bit of a wait ahead of me. I found this forum and saw there were a few peeps up here in the hi-desert. I live in Victorville as well. You guys mind if I pick your brains and ask some questions? Or if I head of over to B&N on Sat.? (I live behind the mall)
