Yeah, we'll definitely have to hang out some. I look forward to it.

What options, if any, did you get?

Options...

I "preferenced" a Black/Silver tridion/red Passion w/ heated seats, upgraded audio, gauges, and Foglights. (I think that's it, it's been a while.) I hope to hear something from the dealer soon. I sent off an e-mail and left a message for one of the Smart people at the dealer in Buckhead and haven't heard anything.

Normally, I wouldn't do a black car but it's sooooo very small, it really doesn't matter.

Funny...I was thinking of just the opposite...
Silver w/black tridion PURE. (like my avatar)
Heated seats, upgraded audio, AC (of course)
I WAS gonna do PowerSteering, but @ $450, I think I may do gages, alarm and/or foglights instead...
I wanna drive one w/and wo/ ps first...

I'll get the inside re-upholstered or do seat covers. The gray is OK, but I'd rather have black.

Re: Buckhead MB

I sent them an e-mail a few months ago. About two hours later, I got a friendly call from Emily. She seemed to be the "go-to-girl" there for smarts.

About two weeks ago, I went by MB of Buckhead, just to see where they were and if they had anything ready yet. She was at the training thing in CA. Nothing smart seemed to be happening there, at all...The guy I talked to said that they would have a display that consisted of a "stack of four".

Cool...

Gauges and fog lights are not a factory option, and the radio upgrade is not offered with the extra speakers. Trust me, you can save the $450 and do without the power steering. If you can crank the windows and outside mirrors you have enough muscle to steer.

Ooooop, you're right.
I can't get those with the pure, can I? That's OK. I didn't really need them anyway.
The sound upgrade doesn't include the sub and components?

Hmmm, maybe I'll have to rethink the pure...dammit...

Nah...that's OK. I'll put some Pioneer touchscreen in there and fab my own sound...for the money I'm saving, it'll make more sense...

OPTIONS

I ordered mine with every upgrade possible for my Cabrio 4-2. I like extra bells and whistles and since I can't have a BRABUS I wanted to get the best that I could for what was offered here in the US.

I'm right there with you in thinking Pure, but . . . .

Going aftermarket with the radio invites break-ins. One of the earlier owners of the new 451 in Canada is extolling the bass and sound from his upgraded Passion Cabrio.

Decisions, decisions . . . at least with a 1369 I can wait and see the showroom models and learn from early deliveries.
