You may have to wait a while yet to confirm - I reserved back in September, and just got to configure two weeks ago. The process does not move fast, and requires a fair amount of faith and patience...

Got the call on 2/29, 30 day notice. I'm an 1182, and still not delivered yet. Ben in Charlotte says it will be here by 4/8/2008, but I'm getting depressed. So many others have gotten their smarts, and I was one of the first to reserve: 3/28/2007, and configure: 10/28/2007. Can't wait to get it and bring her on home to Asheville!! If anyone has any advice, please let me know. I've got the VIN#, and haven't been able to track shipping, etc. Getting antsy...............

Sorry for the late response, I have been out of the country. I purchased an orphaned vehicle. I still have my original reservation from earlier this year for which the estimator is showing a potential delivery in April 2009.

I can't decide if I should cancel the reservation or sell this one next year and take delivery of the new one when it comes in.

I just rolled 595 miles on this one today....I drive it back and forth to work nearly every day from Jamestown to Thomasville.....

Hi all,

Just wondering if the driver of a yellow cabrio in the Hickory, NC-area was here on SCOA. I was driving south of Hickory on US321 when I saw the yellow cab merging into traffic as I was ramping off in my blue/blk coupe. We exchanged waves and smiles and off we both went. This was my first time running across another area fortwo and just wanted to say 'hi' again and see if you might be a SCOA associate. I've heard of another blue one, a red, and a white one in the Hickory area, as well as an older green fortwo.

This past month and a half has been the most fun I've had with a car in years. I find myself chatting up about this car with everyone. It's fun to feel like some 'ambassador from smartville'. :-)

I am still waiting in Conover. Am a 1223 and DDE is showing I am in my 90 day window I so expect there will be a blue Passion in Conover in late May to June.

I know you are anxiously awaiting your delivery, and I sure hope it is soon. I was an 1182, I configured mine in late-October '07, and finally got my delivery call on 'Leap Day' - Feb. 29 - and picked up my fortwo in Charlotte on March 12. So far, I feel the wait was well worth it, as I have really enjoyed my car. I hope you enjoy yours when you get it too. Hope your wait isn't much longer.
