"001" shift linkage

Took delivery of my Passion coupe on Feb. 23d. Arrived at dealership the day before. Wondering if it's safe to assume that the shift linkage correction was automatically performed either at the VPC (port) or at the dealership? Is there any way to know for certain? It would seem to me that this would be done immediately prior to delivery. All help is appreciated, of course. peter

The dealership in Lake bluff checks each one on delivery before it leaves the lot. I was told that by the head service tech.

My dealer said they started doing it after I took delivery of my 1173 car in mid-January. The bulletin came out after I got my car. I had them check it when I took it in for an unrelated check engine light and they replaced some parts in the fueling system.
