08 Red vs 09 Red

What red color are you prefer?

08' Red, I like the slight orange shade to it.

In certain light, my '08 looks really red. In others, it looks orange. In the very bright sunlight, if you look closely, it sparkles. I likes it!!!

I like the durability of the MIC panels, so I prefer the '09 red.

j/k of course.....the '08 had a certain distinction about it, but between the two I prefer the '09.

On the other hand, if they had made something that resembled a "Viper Red", I would have bought one of THOSE in a heartbeat......

To me, the '09 red is too edgy - when reflecting blue sky, the sky color is purpley (cold). The '08 red (what I think of as "Tomatina Red" or "Buñol Red"**) is at its best and really strikingly vibrant and warm on a dreary, wet day - especially counterpointed with the black trid and red or leather interior.

** Yah, been there; done that - still have a stained tee-shirt as a souvenir.
