09 Rally Red Pure

Stopped by Round Rock Smart today and they had a Rally Red Pure in. Not sure if the picture has been posted yet, but here it is. I really like the color. Even seen the new Red seats and they look way better. All the Red in the car actually looks Red and not Orangish. Enjoy.

Although I disagreed with the decision to stop yellow, that red is a much better color than the "almost Clemson Orange" red they had for the '08s...

In July I put my $99. deposit down on a red Smart and then when I actually saw one up front and personal I cringed. It looked orange....I hate orange....it looked like a pumpkin. I almost backed out and changed my color. Thank goodness they came up with a real red shade and I am now SO anxious to get my Smart at end of January. All things come to those who wait!

Folks, I have an '08 red. It is a really cute car. It LOOKS red enough. I have an 09 Rally red coming soon... Frankly, if I trade in my 08, I will miss it. It is a unique vehicle. No one ever said it looked orange.... it is more red than orange. I don't understand the issue. LOL

SmartAnita.....I am sure your 08 Red Smart is a perfect car and color for you! I didn't mean to offend anyone by saying the 08 red looked orangy to me. Some people look great in that shade. I just personaly don't like anything even close to orange and to me that color was just not working! My Honda Element is a real fire engine red, and I really wanted that minimee look with my new Smart! Forgive me if you felt insulted, I certainly didn't mean it in that way!

That is a nice red. Nice pic man.

That's the closest representation of the rally red I've seen, sort of a lipstick red with a magenta hue to it.
