09 Red and 08 Red together at last

Hello -

I took Zippy out for a bath and then down to smart center and took a few shots of the 09 Rallley Red next to the 08 Metallic Red. I missed the sunshine, so this is under gray skies.

As others have said, the difference is more pronounced in person than on the monitor. To me in person, the 08 red looks more orange and the new red looks less pink. If I had my choice I'd go with the Ralley Red. (Don't tell Zippy)

Thanks to the changeable panels, you do have a choice. Zippy can get a new suit! :-)

I like the look of Zippy. It looks good with the silver. The new red has a lot of magenta in it!

It's weird but I think some of us with the 08 red are so accustomed to looking at our car that it makes the 09 red look more pink than those with fresh eyes.

If you still have the Silver you could have any it painted any red you want.

I don't like that comparison. They both look like the old bright orange red color. I know I have seen them side by side, and the new red looks much darker. Thanks for the pics, but that for some reason just does not do the Rally Red justice.
