Thanks. I have been there and there is a lot of good stuff to sort thruhere. This Smart site is better org. I will be here from time to time. My feelings on the Smart are positive. Its just the 60 miles a day in the truck, 17mpg and pushing 4 bucks a gallon for diesel and also the ware and tear on a dualy diesel truck to go to work in is killing me. Diesel are not cheep to fix, I know. Want to keep it around for some time to get my moneys worth out of it. I think I will be just as happy with the Yaris coupe as I would be with the Smart. Cuteness aside. Plus the dealer is in town not 80 miles away. Thanks for the good words SmartBob.

Oh and one other thing, there are no loosers here. PAG sells a car to another reservationsist, or walk-in. They have more buyers than cars. I get my economy this weekend. And wanter for a car now has a chance to have one a lot sooner than my 1 year wait.

I will be dropping my confirmation as well and I am 1205. I can't wait untill July or August. The warranty, no spare tire and parts has me spooked. I am going for my second test drive on the Yaris tonight.

Understood. The Yaris is basically a Corrola shortened. The engine and drive train have been around for years. Proven durability. Price is better that the Smart at least it is for me. Plus they have $750.00 rebate on the Yaris now.

I got a black one, 3-door hatchback. 5 spd Manual. Nice car. Delivery I think will be this weekend. Still on the boat. heheheh

I am going for the white auto hatchback type S. I will configure tonight and hopefully take delivery this weekend as well.

What did you configure? Pure, Passion, Cabrio? Options? What's your local dealer?

Do you really think it's going to be July/August before you get your car!?

I had a triple black passion, fog lights, upgraded sterio, alarm, no pods. I am in Orlando, and based on no information and very few smarts overall delivered so far, I guess-timate it will be mid summer before I get the call. I figure my 1205 puts me around the 13,000th person to order and they will only deliver 16,000 to 20,000 this year, I can not see getting it before July. Just my guess, which hold the same weight right now as a no call, and no information on deliveries from anyone at the Orlando dealership or Smart usa.

I know I will feel sad when I see my orphan in the wild one day. But thinking it over, I am using a new car as my primary transportation, that being said, I feel the Yaris will fit better.
