It IS actually beginning to make sense. Large metro areas evidentally have many reservations, and lots of early March rezos. It is taking longer into the confirmation process to clear that early flood. In a smaller markets like louisville, there were initially only 150 rezos by late summer, but evidentally a late flood after the tour hit town, so the confirmation process is going quicker in the early going, and may slow down later.

I can understand that they want to evenly distrubute the cars they have available. However then don't tell us that they are working in order of reservations. It does make some sense that the because Chicago is a large market they can only bring in so many at time and that this allows them to get some cars to the dealers in the smaller makets who also need to sell some to make a living.
