If he has signed the purchase agreement with the dealership, and they have also signed, I don't really think they can do much, nor should they. I think orphans will be plentiful and the "flip this car" idea won't work.
You are right Peddlecar however the question is how many are ready, willing and waiting to adopt. I have a feeling there are many more willing adoptors than cancellors.
