Check "Evilution's" site; shows exactly where it is and how to change it (takes 2 minutes)
DUH.... I already pulled and cleaned it at 5K silly me thought it was the fresh air vent filter. If I had only known it was called "activated charcoal filter for the A/C" which begs the question what is it called if you have a PURE with no A/C.....

I did the 10k mile oil change myself for about $50, the oil was a bit expensive but that's just because its mobil 1 :P as for the carbon air filter, its in the drivers foot compartment right behind the pedals, there is a forum on here somewhere about it, anyways. Its basically a little door that pops out and you pull out what looks like a little air filter, save yourself some money. The local dealer (3hrs away in chicago) quoted me $50 for a new one. Found out I could go to walmart and get one that fits and works for $12. Cheers.

Hey, fishrailroad - could you share just a little bit more of that information, please? What exact filter did you get at Walmart specifically? It's kind of a big store to just drop the name of the store... Thanks in advance.

CF 10132 = Fits like a glove (regardless of what they say !!)
Thanks Chief, that's $18 at a local auto store. Which is VERY good compared to what the dealer wants, obviously. I'd still like to know what fishrailroad found at Wally World for $12 though?
I've replaced mine twice with the following. It's $19.70 from Amazon with free shipping (orders over $25) and no sales tax. I bought it with some Mobil1 oil and filters to get the free shipping and a $15 Mobil1 rebate.

Thanks rfernatt and Chief, I'm just wanting to hear more of that $12 song fishrailroad is singing. Things are tight since we added a $400 car payment for my wife recently, doncha know.
