Don't know if we can get here in the US for 09. It is being sold in europe now. I can only hope.

I'd go for it, but mine's configured.

Now the real question is this: when does that get added to the configuration software? Could you get a MHD when you reserved something else? When can smart add different options or even different colors? Or even change model years? Some reservees have probably actually reserved 2009 or even 2010 model year fortwos....

according to my Scanguage ,The smart uses gas at idle at a rate of .18 gallons per hour. The MHD would seem to be a good idea on the surface , but at .18 gallons per hour times $3.50 per gallon for gas, The smart only costs 63 cents per hour to idle.

the MHD is only being tested inLondon and is not yet for sale anywhere. Look at the Think car before buying the Smart MHD.

The electric smart is the one that is being tested in London.

The MHD is available new - go to www.smart.com and check out the German site for instance.

I wish this was offered as a bolt on. I cant see why all cars couldnt have this installed on them.
