Anyone buy or order a 2013 yet?

Yes i have one due in May i hope.....The lease on my Benz is up in may and i am getting a 2013 Smart car totally all in black.and than i am putting a lot of aftermarket things on it,New dash in brush alum,chrome wheels,and a lot of chrome trim,led DRL,HID headlights and tail lights,& puddle lights

Late May or Early June is the expected dates for them to start arrive in dealers.

2013's are sitting at Baltimore port waiting for release from both MB HQ and customs. (every model year has to be re-certified).

Plan is to have them to dealers end of MAY?

I am down to 4 NEW and 2 Previously loved smarts at my dealership. Hope the 13's get here soon?

Looks like the plan to end the 2012 model year early is working well. Shouldn't be a glut of 2012s left over as some have predicted. Has anyone ordered a 2013 Brabus yet?

I heard that the launch date will be May 21st. I am sure the dealers will start receiving 2013's as soon as they clear customs, go through PDI, and then transported to the dealership.

Is the electric still stated for the fall of this year or will it be launched with the rest of the 2013 models next month?

I believe the ED will not launch until this coming Fall and possibly later. In the latest edition of Westways Magazine published by the Automobile Club of Southern California, gave the smart ED a favorable review. The reviewer reports an 85 miles range and 15 hours to fully charge the batteries on household current. He indicates that he doesn't drive more then 40 miles from his home base so that he will have sufficient battery power to be able to return home.
