Garage
Yes....I did it I got 309.6 miles with a gallon to spare (used 7.65 gallons). To top it all off I got 40.44 mpg, my first time over 40 mpg.

So I broke two records, for me anyway, on one fill up.

Now I did most of the miles on the highway doing 70-75 with slips to 78-82 once or twice. Man this car is fun.

Alright, this is encouraging. I think its the wind on the highway that is my problem. Do you highway drivers have alot of cross wind??

Also, is it getting better with age?

Bonnie, my first full tank was 34 but I chalked that up to HORRIBLE WINDY STORMS and snow and ice driving. Then, I filled half way and got 39, I guess that does not count. Then, my last tank was 34 again. I wish I knew why.

Nope, I'm still completely stock.

I have noticed that my mileage has gotten progressively better with age. It's gone up about 2 MPG each fill up. Hoping to hit 42 MPG this next tank.

Finally did it on the 3rd tank!
305 mi on 8.1 gals.
95% city, 5% highway and 100% of the time with the AC on.
I guess 37.6 mpg isn't too bad. Still trying for 40.

On my first tank that was in the car from the dealer, I got 310 miles with one tick to go and put in 6.6 gal at pump shut off.... don't know if it would have taken more as I didn't want to overfill it.

Humbug... Every tank returns me 38.0 to 39.5 MPG. Each tank I try to vary my testing for optimal MPGs. I try driving in 'D' for a tank, and then try shifting manually the next tank. I keep my freeway speeds under 65 MPH to see what effect that has. But I still can't get over 40 MPG, grrr.

300 club

I appear to be one of those getting higher mileage in my driving cycle. I usually see between 320-340 miles on the trip odometer before I trigger the Reserve Indicator on the dash. Last fill-up calculated in at 46.77 MPG, but I did a bit more highway driving than usual. MPG is between 44 1/2 and 46.
