The 350 Club

Just filled up my 2nd tank of gas. 350 miles on the dot. 43.8 MPG.

1st tank got me 333 miles and 43.9 MPG.

Has anyone managed 50 MPG or 360 miles on a tank yet?

On my second tank I drove a long, conservative trip. 52.98 MPG. Most of the time, driving normally and around town it's about 40 MPG.

Congratulations!
First it was the "300 mile" club now another challange to hit 350.
That's gonna be tough here in Florida with the AC running but I'll give it a try at the next fillup.

Darn it, once again I got 300 miles to a tank full and missed the 350 miles mark. I got 328.9 miles on 7.773 gallons for 42.317 mpg, I had almost a whole gallon left but the gas gauge showed .2 gallons. Sooooo close.

You'd have been well into your reserve, but you would have made 350...

Keep tryin', you'll get there!

90% flat. Some stop and go to and from work. About 40% city on 45 mph streets and traffic lights every 1/4 mile.

Next week-end, I'm going to top off my 2nd tank, set the trip meter and drive approx 240 miles from Rancho Cucamonga to Lake Havasu City to watch some performance boats do a Poker Run, Hot Boat Trials and a race. I'll be driving the usual speed of 75+ with the A/C on with only a few short hills to climb and descend. Hoping to jump over the 300 club directly to the 350. I'll get back..
