The 350 Club

333 this morning and Im not into the reserve yet (will be at any minute I'm sure.
Should get the 350 no problem...*might* stretch for the 360

This is my first full tank with the car (already broken in though as it had 2000 miles when I got it)

About 75/25 highway/city driving averaging 70-75mph on the highway.

I'll update when I put gas in tonite as to the exact numbers.

Went for a drive for lunch. I kept telling myself a little further, a little further. I finally gave in and stopped for gas when the gauge said 0.3 gallons.

371.3 miles took 8.3 gallons to fill = 44.7mpg

I honestly think theres 400 in her somewhere, I got stuck in traffic a few times and took some local in town trips too.

Fifth fill, 1500 miles of easy break-in to get the rings seated in and the compression pressure way up = 7.611 was all she would take for 46.3 mpg, 354.4 miles and at least 50% was interstate at 70 and 25% was in town stop and go. Next tank is mid grade and shortly the DT muffler goes on and the new 185/60 Michelins will be under it......trying to start a 400 club......
