Good idea......I've heard that sometimes even 1" can make all the difference in the world to some people in certain situations. Maybe this is one of them too.

In all seriousness, I wish lived nearby and I could loan you my 3.5" raise receiver to lower that tongue ever so slightly and I bet that would make quite a difference.

BBB. I think the receiver is the 3.5" rise. The one that came with the UHaul hitch was way too high. We tried about 3 sizes and this was the closest to level.

And you are right it seems a bit high but that's no driver or passenger in the car. A2Jack

A2jack, we need to meet up so I can take some measurements. Somehow, Curt Mfg. believes the Brabus has too many issues, as in "lowered suspension" (wow! a whopping 3/8"), the rear valence panel is longer [taller] (hmm, I think they are the same size as any passion/pure, and the rear center pipes (the tips do not extend past the valence panel). PM me with a possible time/date. Thx.

If you can find a hitch that will work with the Center pipes and still look good let everyone know.

I've got an assortment of them sitting in the back of my car - didn't check and see the variety that can be had from UHaul. I thought it looks like the one you have was the highest available. My Saturday morning hangout is the UHaul dealer so I'll have to check his computer and see what is available.

I haven't tried my micro-cargo trailer yet since I've added springs to see how it tows at those speeds - still building the body. It's also considerably shorter and narrower.

Most of the trip was driven in manual using the paddles. The shift points were between 3 and 4k, it ran 3,300 RPM at 70 MPH.

Thanks for the reply's. A2Jack
How was acceleration like? Still amazingly good?

Now we just need someone to haul a yacht. (any takers?)

Neon. The car will easily pull a 4 place Zodiac and a 5 Hp outboard. A2Jack.

I found the Zodiac Marine USA site.

It would be nice to find some thing similar here in the USA.

Ahh, the ever so not useful YouTube

I think you could get it imported to the U.S. since it does not have any country specific design. I could be wrong

Zodiac is sold all over the world. We have been using them for years. The three place we used to explore the rivers and lakes above Algonquin Prov Park in Canada, fit in the trunk of the smallest Toyota.

The boats are great. but they are big bucks. We bought the last one here in Michigan, and powered it with a Johnson 3.5 HP. We sold it last year. Getting old I guess. A2Jack
