40,000 miles on an 09 coupe

anything to look out for?

the car has new tires, and will get an oil change on it asap...

what else should i be looking out for? it has no wrecks and seem's to have regular state inspections.

??? 46k on my car, original clutch. When do they usually go bad? No problems with mine and I've owned it for the last 13k miles.

I have an 09 with 48000 miles and just had a clutch put in it. In the neighborhood of $1600.00 at a Mercedes dealership.

sounds like i should get a lower mile vehicle.

been trying to buy one but the dealer sucks... they are asking 11k so i offered 11k OTD which i felt was a fair counter and they wont even call me back

That depends...

If the car history checks out,
the blue book value is good,
and
an experienced mechanic say it's OK, then there is no reason not to buy it...

A lot of folks have 100K on their Smarts,
Used cars are a great bargain.

Just look at the major items and if worn beyond 2/3rds, see if the seller will replace or discount...
