I was trying to get into the 451s.com website. It looks like it is rerouted to something else. Has anyone had any luck?

I usually swing by there once or twice a week. . . today it was gone with no notice - just the 404 code from ning.com.

A Google search shows up the same address I had stored. . . oh, well - maybe the recession got to them and they need a bailout.

It’s been 15 months since the 451 smart fortwo community was started and it has now received over 1.8 million visits, with users from 184 countries. It is great to see how many people like us just love the smart and are glad that 451’s is here to help smart owners and help develop the 451 smart fortwo itself.

While 451’s is an advertisement free environment, aftermarket distributors are welcome to post about their products and provide support but we will never accept pushed advertising to members.

It was really great when smart USA joined up by using the same system as 451’s so that members of 451’s could use the same login at smart USA insider and vice versa . While it would have been nice to combine smart USA and 451’s into a single site the current situation allowed 451’s to grow into an international community as over 40% of the visitors are from outside of the USA.

I hope you’re making friends in the community and enjoying the chat system which was installed recently. To chat with people they have to be added as a friend, you can find friends from your area by searching your city, state/province in the search box. Soon we will be releasing some cosmetic changes and a special International section.

This new section will be tied into the smart dealerships across Europe and shortly after its launch these new features and functions will be added to help make life easier for smart owners in the USA and Canada. Things like warranty items, customer notices, dealer contact details, and other items both officially from smart and from the community members will be made available here.
